the girls were bored, my rarely emerging "cooking from scratch" urge...urged...
we were hungry and impulsive,
and somehow making a strawberry shortcake cake (really the name) together became our goal of the day.
add big tablespoons of silliness, messiness, adequate spills, couple of missing ingredients,
and oh yeah...it ain't shortcake till you have tears in there somewhere...
i will publish the end result too, which was o' this world good.
thank goodness.
