Spread love everywhere you go: first of all in your own house. Give love to your children, to your wife or husband, to a next door neighbor... Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of God's kindness; kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile, kindness in your warm greeting.

TREASURING THE RHYTHM...

I COUNTED THEM TODAY.

SINCE JANUARY 1, WE HAVE HAD OVER 8 MAJOR EVENT AND FAMILY CELEBRATIONS.

FEBRUARY AND MARCH CARRY MORE THAN THEIR PERCENTAGE ALLOTMENT OF BIRTHDAYS.

... AND
EACH HOLIDAY, WITH ITS UNIQUE SPECIALNESS', HAS BEEN CELEBRATED TO OVERFLOWING.

TOSS IN A FEW HANDFULS OF MINI-CRISES, AND A PINCH OF CHAOS, AND ...WE'RE LIVIN' LIFE TO THE FULLEST AND BEYOND...

FOR THAT. I AM HAPPY, AND CONTENT,

... AND TIRED!!

'CAUSE I RUN BEST ON THE METRONOME OF ROUTINE,

AND TODAY...

I AM THANKFUL FOR JUST THAT,

THE ORDINARY, BUT "SOMEWHAT" PREDICTABLE RHYTHM OF OUR BIG, BUSTLING FAMILY.

A FRIEND SENT THIS TO ME, AND I THOUGHT IT SO REAL... AND IMPORTANT, ...AND HONEST, I WANTED TO SHARE.

THANK YOU, DEAR FRIEND, FOR THE REMINDER OF THE BEAUTY OF THE ORDINARY.

MAY WE TREASURE IT ALWAYS.

An 83 year old mother has a yellowed, curled clipping stuck to her bathroom mirror with the following quotation:

"Normal day, let me be aware of the treasure you are. Let me learn from you, love you, bless you before you depart. Let me not pass you by in quest of some rare and perfect tomorrow. Let me hold you while I may, for it may not always be so. One day, I shall dig my nails into the earth, or bury my face in the pillow, or stretch myself taut, or raise my hands to the sky and want, more than all the world, your return."
